Containership operation :Initial Response To Stevedores Accident

Anyone who has discovered or has reported a stevedore injury (including line handling men) shall notify the Duty Officer, and the following measures shall be taken:

Reporting to the Chief Officer or Master

Reporting to the responsible stevedoring person

Reporting to the Local agent

Asking for local emergency Medical Services via the Local agent

Giving First aid treatment to the injured person

Confirming and preserving the scene of the accident
